Yes. Signed On Time travels to service members, veterans, and military families across Southwest Ohio, with same-day and after-hours appointments available when the schedule allows. I'm Terry May, a veteran-owned Ohio notary based in Waynesville, and I come to you so a signing deadline does not wait on a trip across town.
Yes, when my schedule and the travel distance allow it. Same-day appointments are available, including evenings and weekends. Regular hours are 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Need something outside those hours? Call (513) 226-9052 and I will accommodate the request whenever I can.
I don't promise a set arrival time, because that depends on your location, my current schedule, travel distance, timing, and urgency. What I will do is tell you honestly, when you call, whether I can get there inside your window. If you have a narrow window around duty hours, a flight, or a report date, say so up front and I will plan around it. For evening and weekend timing, you can also read how after-hours appointments work.
The service member has to be physically present with current government-issued photo ID, and the name on that ID should match the name on the document. There is no way to notarize for someone who is not there in person. Leave the document unsigned until the appointment unless your legal assistance office or attorney instructs otherwise. For an acknowledgment, you may acknowledge a signature made earlier while appearing before the notary. For a jurat, you sign in the notary's presence and take an oath or affirmation.
Whoever prepared the document decides which document you need and whether witnesses are required. That could be a base legal assistance office, an attorney, a lender, a title company, or an agency. I don't choose the document, give legal advice, or determine whether the authority in it is valid. If the document calls for witnesses, that depends on the document itself, and I can talk through coordinating them when we schedule.
Common military situations I'm asked to notarize include a deployment or pre-deployment power of attorney, a healthcare directive, affidavits, a vehicle title transfer, and real estate or loan documents during a PCS move. For background on the paperwork families run into, see this deployment power of attorney and VA documents guide.
A civilian Ohio notary or an authorized military notary can perform notarial acts within their respective authority. Appearing with ID alone does not establish that every requirement for a particular act or document has been met. According to the National Notary Association, military notaries may serve members of the armed forces, and their notarial acts are accepted the same way a state-commissioned notary's acts are under federal law (10 U.S.C. §1044a).
Many families call a mobile notary when base office hours don't line up with a deadline, or when the signer can't get to the office. The notary completes the requested notarial act according to the requirements that apply to it. I can't promise that any particular bank, court, or agency will accept a completed document, because that acceptance is the receiving party's decision, not mine.
Ohio law permits a notary to charge up to $5 per notarial act, and that limit is per act, not per signature. A travel fee applies to every mobile appointment and is quoted before you book. The total depends on the service, location, travel required, timing, urgency, and assignment details, and I confirm it with you before the appointment.

As a mobile loan signing agent working across Southwest Ohio, I'm NNA Certified, carry a 2 million dollar errors and omissions policy, complete a yearly background screening, and have been commissioned as an Ohio Notary Public since July 28, 2017. Signed On Time is veteran-owned, and I bring 25+ years of commercial and residential lending experience to signings.
My role is to be an impartial witness: I verify the signer's identity, complete the authorized notarial act, and keep the required record. I don't decide which document you need, give legal advice, or determine a signer's capacity. When a question falls outside the notary role, I'll point you to the attorney, legal assistance office, lender, or agency that handles it, so you're not left guessing at the next step.
Signed On Time is based in Waynesville, Ohio 45068, and I travel to you. The service area covers Hamilton, Warren, Montgomery, Butler, Greene, and Clinton counties in Southwest Ohio, between Cincinnati and Dayton. I come to homes, offices, and other agreed locations.
We have lived, worked, and shopped in this area for 32 years, and many of the communities here are rural, where it can be hard to find a notary who will make the drive. If you're just outside those six counties I travel to, call to ask and I'll let you know whether I can make it work.
Call or text (513) 226-9052, or book online at signedontime.com/book-now. Tell me where you are, your timing window, and what document needs to be notarized, and I'll confirm the appointment and the total before we meet.
Yes, same-day appointments are available, subject to my current schedule, your location, travel distance, timing, and urgency. Regular hours are 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, and I accommodate outside-hours requests whenever I can. Call (513) 226-9052 and I'll tell you honestly whether I can reach you in time.
A current government-issued photo ID is required, and the name on it should match the document. Questions about an expired, out-of-state, or damaged ID need a quick review before the appointment, because I can't promise in advance that a specific ID will be accepted or rejected. Call with the details and I'll tell you what will work or what to bring.
Witness requirements depend on the specific document, and whoever prepared it confirms whether witnesses are needed. I don't invent those requirements. When we schedule, tell me what the document calls for and we can plan how to have witnesses present.

Bring your document unsigned and a valid government-issued photo ID. If witnesses are required, we will let you know when you schedule.
